FluxSorb RP is a high-quality, domestically manufactured powdered activated carbon engineered for treatment of contaminated sediments and waters.
It can be produced from locally sourced feedstocks and activated under controlled conditions to create pore volume and properties designed for contaminated sediments, soils, and groundwaters.

Fluxsorb RP for Water and Sediment Treatment
Fluxsorb RP is our domestically manufactured powdered activated carbon for contaminated soils, sediments, and waters. In water work it fits where drinking water certification isn’t required. For potable water, use CarbPure TRA, which is certified to NSF/ANSI 61.
Process Water, Wastewater, and Collected Stormwater
Dosed into a batch or contact tank, Fluxsorb RP adsorbs PFAS, hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents, then settles out with the solids or comes out on a filter. Like any powdered carbon, it works in tanks rather than as a flow-through filter bed; its particles are too fine to stay put in a packed vessel.
Pond, Basin, and Lagoon Sediments
Contaminated sediments keep feeding the water above them. Activated carbon mixed into sediments, or placed as an amendment layer, binds hydrophobic organics and cuts what reaches the water column and the organisms living there. That’s the in situ sediment work Fluxsorb RP was engineered for. Its product data also lists inorganics associated with coal combustion residuals among its targets, which matters at ash ponds.
