Overview
Ferox Flow Zero Valent Iron is specifically designed for slurry injection into the subsurface. Detailed kinetics studies have revealed that not all iron powders are the same — when kinetic values are normalized to mass or surface area concentrations, Ferox Flow gave the most favorable results for the degradation of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (cVOCs). Ferox Flow had more than twice the activity of leading competitors’ iron powders, as confirmed by Dr. Paul G. Tratnyek, Professor at Oregon Health & Science University.
